What questions do you have?
-
No. I do not accept insurance at this time.
I can provide a superbill for you to submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage depends entirely on your insurance plan, so I recommend checking directly with them to understand your benefits before beginning therapy.
-
Initial intake sessions are $150. Ongoing therapy sessions are offered using a self-selected sliding scale of $100, $125, or $150 per session.
I use a model inspired by the “Green Bottle” sliding scale approach, which allows clients to choose the rate that best aligns with their current financial circumstances. My hope is to balance accessibility with the sustainability of providing thoughtful, quality care.
The process is based on trust, and there is no requirement to justify or explain your choice. If finances shift over time, we can revisit what feels manageable.
If you have questions about rates or payment, please feel free to reach out.

In our first session, we will begin getting to know one another and exploring what brings you to therapy. My goal is to better understand your current concerns, experiences, and what you hope to gain from our work together.
We will discuss your personal history at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You do not need to share everything all at once, and there is no pressure to dive into difficult experiences before you feel ready.
By the end of the first session, we will begin identifying goals for therapy and discussing possible next steps so you leave with a clearer sense of direction. While the first session is often focused on building understanding, my intention is for you to leave with a clearer sense of direction and how we may begin moving toward meaningful change.

You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Often people seek support because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or want a deeper understanding of themselves for lasting change.
-
Absolutely. Many people I work with are insightful, high-functioning, and have learned a lot about themselves from past therapeutic work, yet still feel stuck in familiar patterns, overwhelm, or struggle emotionally.
Understanding yourself is important, but insight alone is not always enough for lasting change. Therapy with me goes beyond simply talking about concerns. Together we work to understand what may be happening beneath the surface and use approaches—including EMDR when appropriate—to support meaningful and lasting change.

I believe therapy works best when it is both compassionate and intentional. While insight and self-understanding are important, insight alone is not always enough for meaningful, lasting change.
Therapy with me goes beyond simply talking about concerns. Together, we work to understand the deeper patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, overwhelm, trauma, feeling stuck, or other challenges. My approach is trauma-informed and integrates evidence-based therapies, including EMDR when appropriate, to help support healing at a deeper level.
Because every person’s experiences and goals are unique, therapy is not one-size-fits-all. We will create an individualized approach that feels supportive, collaborative, and purposeful—with space for reflection, deeper healing, and meaningful movement forward.
-
No. EMDR is just one approach. Treatment is collaborative and tailored to each individual.
-
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy approach that helps the brain process difficult or overwhelming experiences that may feel “stuck.” Sometimes past experiences continue to affect us long after they happen—showing up as anxiety, overwhelm, feeling stuck, self-doubt, or patterns that no longer feel helpful.
EMDR helps the brain process these experiences, so they feel less emotionally intense and disruptive. Many people find that experiences that once felt overwhelming begin to feel more manageable, allowing space for healing and meaningful movement forward.
EMDR is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Treatment is personalized, collaborative, and guided by your goals, pace, and readiness. You do not have to talk through every detail of difficult experiences for healing to occur.
-
No. You do not have to share every detail of painful experiences for therapy to be helpful, and there is never pressure to talk about anything before you feel ready.
Healing is not about forcing yourself to relive difficult moments. At the same time, meaningful change often involves gently learning how to approach emotions or experiences that may have felt overwhelming in the past, rather than avoiding them altogether. Part of therapy is expanding your capacity to tolerate and move through difficult emotions with greater confidence, support, and self-understanding.
I believe no emotion is inherently “bad”—some simply feel more uncomfortable than others. Together, we work at a pace that feels supportive and manageable, helping you build the tools and resilience needed to move through discomfort without becoming overwhelmed or stuck.
-
I offer both in-person and telehealth. EMDR can also be done virtually.
-
I typically recommend starting with weekly sessions for the first 2-4 months to build rapport and momentum.
From there, we may space sessions out based on your progress and needs.
I don’t believe therapy should be open-ended without direction. We will regularly check in on whether you’re experiencing movement toward your goals. If therapy isn’t feeling helpful or aligned, we’ll address that directly and decide together whether to adjust our approach or end treatment.
Many clients work with me for 1-2 years, while others may need more or less time depending on their goals. The focus is always on meaningful progress—not staying in therapy longer than necessary.
